liblatex-table-perl software package provides Perl extension for the automatic generation of LaTeX tables, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install liblatex-table-perl
liblatex-table-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the liblatex-table-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep liblatex-table-perl *
You will get with liblatex-table-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
